Helping this small brokerage grow from a startup to the #1 independent real estate brokerage in the Grand Strand area is one of her most fulfilling jobs to date. As BRG begins an aggressive expansion into the Southwest regions of the United States, she’ll be working to oversee the brand and marketing efforts in several new areas and help guide the company’s growth strategy. Settled along the water in sunny southwest Florida, investors and friends started reaching out to her for help with the sale and acquisition of their own properties in the area. Starting the Broussard Group at BRG alongside her daughter, Kelsey seemed a natural step. Kelsey’s first job in real estate started off when she was about 13. Working in exchange for ice cream, she helped restock her parent’s real estate magazine in boxes all over the Carolina coast. Kelsey studied at Texas State before she started a career in marketing herself. She took the freedom that came with working online and used it to travel the world and start her own travel company. Fast forward a few years later, Kelsey decided she was ready to call the sunshine state her home, and Lisa and Kelsey decided it was time to start The Broussard Group.
