Advanced Leadership Cape Coral 2022 3/18/2022 9:00 AM – 5/13/2022 11:30 AM

In this eight part series, participants will revisit core leadership concepts and tools to help refine their leadership skills in order to maximize business results. Each module in the series will be 2.5 hours in length, held on Friday’s from 9:00 – 11:30. All sessions will be held at Keiser University in Fort Myers. A variety of instructional methods will be utilized, including mini lectures, video, simulation, case studies and facilitated discussion.

Discover how to effectively lead a team to high performance and methods for dealing with team conflict.

Session Four: One cannot be a leader without followers, learn what it means to develop the art of followership. Discover the strategies and courage required for managing up. Explore what followers seek from leaders. Discuss how to motivate followers through empowerment. Entertain new ideas for motivation.

Session Five: Learn about the contingency approach to leadership. How is situational leadership helping leaders to manage followers with diversity? How do attitudes affect leadership and leadership style?

Session Six: In this session, we will discuss negotiation and leading people who are different than you. Discuss how men and women lead differently. Learn how to develop cultural intelligence. Explore how power is different, how it can be leveraged, and how followers view the use of power.

Session Seven: In this session, we will explore the process of creating a framework that leads to change. We will learn the keys to success that help people change. Discover when change has occurred how to freeze the change to maintain it.

Session Eight: This session is about creating a vision and how to strategize to successfully execute vision into reality. Discussion will occur concerning the creating of a culture of strength, responsiveness and performance. Our discussion will include ethical and value based cultures as a tool for strategic advantage.
